Then youÂ've booked a cruise in Alaska, but have no idea what to pack. What you wear in Alaska, anyway? Inevitably, when you think about Alaska, you think of Indians gathered in fur-lined parkas and teams racing sled in the snow immense covered.
Of course, youÂ'll going to Alaska in the summer, and while he youÂ'll glaciers of view (and perhaps take another trip by dog sled across ice field), experience is very likely that certain weather conditions very beautiful too.
Highs in the summer in the middle of the coast of Alaska about 60 degrees (16 degrees Celsius). Inside is even hotter, with knee high socks that go up in 70 bis (C 20Â MID).
Fairbanks is warmer than Anchorage?
Paradoxically, becomes hotter the further north you go the coast, so Fairbanks is often 10 or more Anchorage degrees higher than during the summer months, the opposite of winter, during which it is cold in Fairbanks.
So if you're planning to spend time touring the interior Alaska, before or after the cruise, can pack a pair of shorts (or even a bathing suit - after all, the cruise more likely to both inside and outside).
In addition, you'll want to wear short-sleeved shirts or blouses and, yes, even a sun blocker. The screen Solar is good to have if it's fine while watching the glaciers, the most likely want to spend a good amount of time on the balcony or outdoor terrace. Bring lip balm too - you need it.
Alaska Glacier Cruise Packing Essentials
Almost all cruises Alaska to one or more of the major fjords of Alaska juvenile. The boats stop at a combination of the following: Glacier Bay National Park, Misty Fjords National Monument, Tracy Arm Fjord, and College Fjord.
They are impressive and spectacular fjords, and are the highlight of the cruise. They also tend to be vague cold and rainy, so rain gear is a necessity. Bring a waterproof jacket or raincoat, and packaging a hat and gloves.
A pair of thermal underwear can also be useful for long periods of time will probably be on the Bridge, looking with amazement at the  "calving" of glaciers, endless waterfalls and steep cliffs, lush.
The weather can change rapidly, fjords, and a fog, afternoon cold can turn warmer and sunny a few minutes, so dress in layers is important. Pack at least one warm sweater and perhaps other thin sweater or sweatshirt.
A passport to Alaska?
Believe it or not, you will need a passport, even if your cruise) begins or ends in Vancouver or b) call at a Canadian port, like Victoria. Almost all cruises are the registration of foreigners and are therefore obliged to make at least one stop in a foreign port the need for this more likely is your passport.
The passport is also necessary if you run a tour on land in the Yukon, where his boat is moored to Skagway, Alaska.
Also, remember to bring binoculars, camera and plenty of additional memory cards (or film, if we preferred).
Finally, wear a suit or jacket for the nights remain aboard the ship - which wouldnÂ't want to lose the opportunity for lobster dinner because he forgot his coat at home!
The key to packing for cruises and Alaska is to to have a variety of clothing for all the cold Rainy Day for Pleasant, sunny days, even hot. The key here is variety and layers.
Whatever you do, make sure you have clothes that need to be on deck for several hours in what may be cold, wet conditions. Baja Alaska is a temperate rainforest. It often rains throughout the summer.
Be prepared with layers of law and waterproof clothing will ensure that you have an incredible experience. Your cruise to Alaska would be the vacation of your life. I know it was for me.

New York is cold at night - I wear a jacket?
I'll fly to New York in the morning and I am my suitcase. Should I take a coat if it is Free at night like here in CA? Any other suggestions? My shoes are all high heels and people tell me to be to pack a lot of walking but look at history cute that any discussion on this subject? I mean the City of New York. I had no time to get cards so I feel so unprepared. I have no idea of what I do for 4 days a couple of games I invited some friends to wish me good luck have fun!
It can not be too cold at night here in July, do not worry so much about the jacket if you happen to forget. However, you can get something cold, especially near water and have a light jacket of some sort will not hurt. It could also help fight against mosquitoes, which are elements important city. His parents are 100% correct - bring walking shoes (including scales may not be the best idea). Do not worry about research "cute" if you do lots of walking, and blisters appear, you do not feel very pretty, and your travel will soon become miserable. TRUST and THE NATIVES cover the floors. No doubt about it! One thing that many natives do is use your heels in a bag, and travel in sneakers. When you arrive at work, they change. Do not you look out of place with flats or sneakers. Not at all.
