Winston Million

Can we achieve World peace by simply never fighting?

Lots of questions go around in my head, answers are difficult.

I know from my history lessons that Winston Churchill said the Nazi's were a problem for years before WW2, but nobody listened or did anything, and millions died as a result. SH did himself no favours by invading Kuwait.

These leaders were not democrats, but dictators.

The freedom and lifestyle we have got now came at a very high price to our ancestors. Millions died fighting for what we've got now.

What do we do against anti democratic leaders that threaten the rest of the World and what to try to impose themselves on it? Do we through our democratric rulers have anymore rights to impose ourselves?

Do we nip these people in the bud or let them thrive? Do we do nothing because we feel it is not right to interfere, or do we do nothing because we are selfish and frightened? Do we do nothing because we are complacent and over-confident? Do democrats have any more rights than dictators?

Answers are not easy.

No, this isn't an easy question. War is never pretty. I hate war, absolutely hate it. Brave men and women have died for our country, and innocent people have suffered for it.
No matter which way we choose, it's wrong. If we sit on our thumbs, people die. If we do something about it, people die.

However, I've come to the conclusion that sometimes when a person wants peace, they have to fight for it. It doesn't really make sense, but it seems as though NOTHING makes sense when it comes to mankind.
